When ECOMARINE started diving Utila in 1970 we did it for fun, and that hasn't changed. If you're already a certified diver and looking to do some diving for fun you will find Utila refreshing.
Fun divers that dive with us have different interests than students, so we don't mix them all together. You will find 4 Dive boats which guaranty an uncrowded dive experience and small groups. International instructors and Divemasters take care of the organization and guide the dives. With around 85 different dive sites they can help you to discover the best spots.
The boats leave usually around 7:30 am for two dives on two different locations around Utila. If you like to sleep in, join us for a two tank dive trip in the afternoon and should this still be to early, then enjoy the night dive.
But of course if you are desperate to get wet and watch your bottom time and dive-tables you might as well do all five of them. What ever you decide we're here to make it possible.
In case it has been some time since your last dive you might start it easy and take part in a half day SCUBA TUNE-UP Program where a Divemaster will refresh some theory and skills, so you enjoy your time with us even more. There are although a wide range of Specialty Courses available.
